As promised, win or lose, I’d give an update on the book competitions.
Page Turner Awards: Cargo 3120 did not make it to the next round of judging. While disappointing, I am grateful for the opportunity to submit, when so many competitions have publication date limitations. With that said, I thank the judges for being considered for their awards.
Reader’s Favorite Awards: This was a huge one, with high visibility. While we did not win this competition, we did get a positive and much-needed editorial review from the Reader’s Favorite professional reviewers! I’ll do a post dedicated to that review next.
Final Review Roundup:
Of the four competitions we entered, we scored two honorable mentions and a very positive editorial review. And most of all… exposure!
This has been a wonderful journey and I’m proud of the accomplishments and accolades we received so far. The entire experience is further confirmation that we’re on the right track and that Cargo 3120 Ties that Bind is a series that is worth following! In the end, there is an audience for this, and we’re continuing to work hard to connect with that audience.
If you’ve been on the fence about giving Cargo 3120 Ties that Bind a shot, now is the time!
